Libby established the Life & Legacy Group in 2008 after working in education and school management. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where she earned a Doctorate Degree in Education and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics. She also holds a Master's Degree in Teaching from National Louis University. Libby is a licensed Life Producer as well as a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Kestra Financial, LLC, holding her Series 7: FINRA General Securities Representative, and Series 66: FINRA Uniform Combined Securities Agent & Investment Advisor State Law Exam licenses.
Jim has been in the life insurance business for over 35 years. His focus is on the design and insurance funding of personal, business succession planning, and estate planning needs. Drawing upon a variety of insurance products, he develops innovative solutions designed to meet clients’ financial needs and goals, protect clients from financial risk, and help them achieve financial security.
Jim specializes in high net worth clients who have attained the age of 40 and above. He has collaborated with strategic partners to place over $50,000,000 of target premiums over the last five years using various creative premium financing approaches. Through collaboration, Jim has established relationships with local, regional, national, and international banks to provide funding to retail clients for their life insurance needs. In addition to banking relationships, he has worked with private offices, law firms, accounting firms, charities, and high end advisors. Jim partners with client's advisors to leverage the leverage of the best tax tool available. His goal is to help families transfer their wealth to their loved ones and charities.
As chairperson, Jim’s expertise facilitated several committees for a major life insurance provider including their Executive Benefits, Marketing, Product Development, and Underwriting Committees. Recently, he has consulted for many major life insurance providers on specialty product development.
